Mahindra SUV Launch Timeline 2025–2027: Mahindra is getting ready to launch several new SUVs in India over the next two years. Many test mules have already been spotted across the country, giving a clear idea of the company’s upcoming plans. The lineup will include new lifestyle SUVs, premium EVs, updated ICE models, and compact SUVs.
Mahindra SUV Launch Timeline 2025–2027
BE Rall-E: A New Adventure-Focused Electric SUV
One of the most unique models in Mahindra’s Born Electric lineup is the upcoming BE Rall-E.
It is basically the adventure version of the BE.6.
What to expect:
- tougher and more rugged design
- reinforced cladding
- stronger suspension setup
- off-road–friendly stance
It will share the same electric drivetrain as the BE.6. The BE Rall-E is expected to launch next year.
Lifestyle Segment: Thar EV and Electric Scorpio in Development
Mahindra is the leader in lifestyle SUVs, and the company is expanding this segment further.
The Thar EV concept has already been shown. It will be a five-door, fully electric off-roader and will act as an alternative to the current Thar.
Mahindra is also internally studying a full-electric Scorpio. If approved, it will be based on the Vision S concept and use Mahindra’s upcoming NU_IQ platform, which is planned to enter production around 2027.
Baby Scorpio N: New Compact SUV Coming Soon
Mahindra is also working on a new compact SUV, often called the Baby Scorpio N. It has been spotted testing several times and will target the competitive sub-compact SUV segment.
Vision X-Based Crossover & Electric XUV 3XO
Mahindra will also bring a compact crossover based on the Vision X concept as part of its smaller SUV lineup.
Along with this, the electric version of the XUV 3XO has been tested multiple times. This will strengthen Mahindra’s affordable EV portfolio in India.
Updated XUV700 Coming in 2026 – Big Interior Changes
The first major launch from Mahindra will be the updated XUV700 in 2026.
Exterior changes:
- redesigned bumpers
- updated headlamps
- new alloy wheels
Major upgrades inside the cabin:
- completely new interior layout
- richer and premium materials
- triple-screen cockpit
- bigger infotainment screen
- new digital instrument cluster
- new passenger display
These changes will make the XUV700 look more modern and premium.
XEV 9S: Mahindra’s Big 3-Row EV Launching on 27 November 2025
One of Mahindra’s most important models will be the XEV 9S, a three-row EV based on the XUV.e8.
Launch Date: 27 November 2025
Highlights:
- closed-off aerodynamic design
- unique LED signatures
- born-electric style interior
- based on the INGLO platform
- two battery pack options
- expected range of 500+ km
This will be one of Mahindra’s flagship EVs in the premium electric SUV category.
